The Adinkra is a symbol called Nyansapo meaning wisdom, intelligence and patience. "A wisdom knot is untied only by the wise." Adinkra are visual symbols that represent concepts, proverbs, and aphorisms. They originated from the Gyaman people of Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire. Back then, they featured as prints on cloth which royals wore to important ceremonies.

The Okra is a staple in African American food to this day, in particular, Gumbo. The Okra is a nutritional powerhouse containing . I have the best memories as a kid, my grandma making me fresh bowl with crab, rice at the bottom. The dish was made in the Louisiana area. It can fight cancer, support heart and brain health, and control blood sugar.

Environmental Efforts

We take care of mother earth as best as we can.

We currently use compostable shipping pouches, compostable tea bags, compostable tea bags, recycled paper label and compostable tea pouches.

We volunteer in the community once a month with the aim for a more green, accessible and sustainable economy.

We compost or recycle all of our used materials. Herbs, sample tea bags, sample tea pouches all get composted. Sample paper labels get recycled.
